McKesson Imaging FOCUS™ Portal Privacy Policy

McKesson Technologies Inc. (“MTI”) is committed to maintaining the privacy and security of personal information. This privacy policy describes how the MTI owned and operated McKesson Imaging Focus™ Portal (“Portal”) collects, uses, and shares personal information about you and how this information is protected.  Please read this privacy policy in full before using this Portal.  By using this Portal, you accept the privacy practices described in this policy.  If you do not agree to the terms of this privacy policy, please exit this Portal.


Will You Make Changes to this Privacy Policy?

We reserve the right to alter this policy at our discretion.  We will notify you of substantive changes to this policy on the Portal via an onscreen notice in a timely manner or otherwise communicate them to you.  Your use of the Portal following notice of such changes is your agreement to those changes.  If you do not agree with the changes, you must discontinue your use of the Portal and terminate your account as described in the Terms and Conditions.


What is the Scope of this Privacy Policy?

This privacy policy applies only to this Portal.

What Information Do You Collect?


We collect personal information about you when you visit or register to use the Portal.  This may include information such as:


  • Your first name, last name, business title, e-mail address, IM screen names, time zone and customer #

  • Additional personal information you may choose to provide such as notes and biographical information


This Portal is not intended and must not be used to collect or submit personal health information. Please do not use or submit any personal health information to the Portal.

Personal information we collect on the Portal may be used to enhance your experience by enabling us to:


  • Improve or enhance the Portal
  • Customize your browsing experience on the Portal
  • Communicate special offers and featured items to you, including marketing communications that we believe may be of interest of you, unless you opt not to receive such notices

Communications on this Portal are not confidential.  Your content will be monitored as set forth in the Terms and Conditions.


Do You Use Cookies or Other Tracking Technologies?


We use tracking technologies to collect and store information about your visit to our Portal. These include:


  • Web Beacons – used to collect aggregate information (i.e. loading errors, most visited website pages, etc.).  We may use web beacons to generate website traffic statistics to enhance our Portal.

Do You Track Website Analytics?


Like many websites, we use Google Analytics to collect information about your use of our Portal.  This information consists of information that your web browser automatically sends to Google, such as the web address of the page that you visit and your IP address.  Google may also set cookies or read preexisting cookies.  This information is stored on Google´s servers.  Google uses this information to provide use with reports about traffic to our Portal and your visit to our Portal (such as the domain from which you access the internet, the web address of the website from which you linked to our Portal, the time and date of your visit the web pages that you view and click through).  We will use this data to improve our Portal structure and content.

We may share personal information about you within the McKesson family of companies to promote products and services that may be of interest to you.


We may share personal information about you with third parties that may perform services on our behalf or may request third party service providers to collect personal information on our behalf.  Third party service providers such as:


  • Other McKesson companies
  • Hosting platform providers
  • Software-as-a-service providers
  • Web analytics and reporting providers


We require that third parties maintain personal information we share with them confidential, and use the personal information only for the purpose of fulfilling their business obligations to us. 


We may share personal information about you if required by law or legal process.  We reserve the right to share personal information about you as the result of a corporate reorganization such as a merger, acquisition or divestiture.  

Do You Collect Personal Information from Children?

Our Portal is not intended for any user under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.  We request that children under the age of 13 not submit any personal information through the Portal.

We provide choices to you about:

  • Sharing Personal Information with other users
  • Receiving marketing communications

Do You Respond to ‘Do Not Track’ Signals?


Our Portal does not respond to ‘Do Not Track’ signals.
